Scaling (removing of tartar and deposits)
Tartar is not only the cosmetic problem but first of all a threat to teeth and gums. Remaining tartar, mainly subgingival one, is a habitat of dangerous germs which cause an inflammation of gums and parodontium what leads to to their atrophy and uncovering of the roots of teeth (paradentitis).
Cleaning of teeth does not only remove all deposits and potential discoloration but improves the hygienic condition of a oral cavity and dental esthetics. Scaling is performed mechanically with the help of an ultrasonic scaler.
Sand-blast cleaning
Sand-blast cleaning is a removal of tartar grains and deposits from the teeth surface caused by coffee, tea, cigarettes, and inaccurate teeth cleaning. At first an ultrasonic scanner removes a thick tartar and then a sand-blast cleaning machine removes a fine-grained tartar and deposit.
Fluoridation
Fluoridation is rubbing solutions, gels and fluoride varnishes in teeth or implementing the special foam on the teeth surface. Fluorine released from the applied preparations builds in enamel what makes it more resistant to the influence of plaque acids. Additionally, fluorine causes the remineralisation of minor losses of enamel. Fluoridation is performed after mechanical teeth cleaning with use of a suitable toothpaste and after drying.
