Open curettage
It is used in case of presence of depth periodontal pockets, caused by periodontities development . After surgical exposure of the gums we carry out thorough cleaning of the tooth roots. The treatment ends with a stitching of the gums making them easy to heal. This kind of curettage is the best way of elimination of gums’ inflammation and leads to curbing of periodontal diseases.
Surgical elongation of the crown
We perform surgical treatment of elongation of the crown when the tooth is badly damaged, below the gum line and is not eligible for prosthetic reconstruction or if there is not enough tooth surface for the implementation of a prosthetic crown. This procedure allows to secure firmly the prosthetic restoration and reduces the possibility of irritation to the gums.
Gingivectomia (gingivoplasty)
This is a surgical medical treatment involving the removal of overgrown gums and restoring their natural shape and healthy appearance.
Splint-denture
In case of patients with periodontities the splint-denture are performed. There are skeletal dentures that fill up missing teeth and stabilize wobbly teeth in the same time. They consist of more advanced clamps that hold the teeth and do not allow them for excessive movement. They cause slow and sometimes even to stop the loss of teeth affected by periodontities.
